Project Goals
Michigan Tech Enterprise Corporation (MTEC) SmartZone needed a new website that was mobile friendly, clean, and easy for their marketing staff to build pages and add content.
The Painful Backstory
MTEC’s previous website was over 6 years old and was built on a platform that staff members couldn’t update without hiring a developer. The platform was vulnerable to attacks and the old design didn’t match their brand.
Our Painless Approach
After meeting with MTEC’s marketing staff to discuss the page structure and goals of the new website, we got to work on a design concept. The new site needed to be live in time for MTEC’s annual board meeting, which was less than 4 weeks away.
With a tight deadline in mind, we developed new messaging, designed and built out 12 responsive pages, and sent the final draft to the client for review. Upon approval by the staff, the site was live and presented to the MTEC Board of Directors.
Reviewing the analytics one year after the website launch shows an 82% increase in page views.
