When first approached by startup ProNav Marine, SmartCreative immediately felt a connection with both the founders and their product. Being a lifetime angler, Scott recognized the need for a GPS Autopilot for boats and felt that the product could be a huge success.
A professional brand and website was needed to showcase the features and sell their product.
The Painful Backstory
These new entrepreneurs quickly realized that the brand they wanted to portray was over their heads. They tried creating marketing materials for themselves but couldn’t reach the level they were looking for.
Our Painless Approach
We put the “Pro” in ProNav through an extensive branding effort that impacted everything from marketing collateral to their day-to-day operations.
We kicked it off with messaging and content creation which lead to the first website we designed for them in 2015. Several print design projects followed this first website. We designed product brochures and trade show booth components for their trade show attendance around the country. Several photo shoots and videos were produced during this time to boost the ProNav brand.
When the brand graduated from a startup to a real company, it was time to take the brand to the next level. We designed and developed their current website from the ground up and reworked the tradeshow booth and all print marketing materials.
With a technical product that has to be seen to be fully understood, we knew video was going to be key in this complete website redesign. We used a video hero to highlight how easy their product is to use and coupled that with a traffic study that drives traffic to the right content where videos back up the messaging.
More photography sessions out on the water were completed. New product release videos, product instructional videos, and video animations were produced.
As a direct result of our branding efforts, ProNav’s products are reaching new markets and sales are booming.
